We charge a service fee of 7.5% on the total of the gifts purchased from your registry. We charge this fee at checkout to the guest. There is no signup fee. We charge an additional $2.00 if the guest chooses to purchase a SmartHoneymoon gift card.
In the event of a cancellation or postponement of a wedding, or any other similar circumstance which may create the need for a refund or return of any or all of the gifts deposited with SmartHoneymoon.com, then we will refund to the guests all funds that are still deposited with SmarthHoneymoon.com, including service charge. In the event that these funds have already been disbursed to the couple, it will be the coupleç—´ responsibility to take action to return these gifts to the guests. If a guest requests a refund of their own volition, and Smarthoneymoon.com still has the funds on deposit, we will refund the full charged amount, less the 7.5% service fee. If the gifts have already been delivered, it shall rest upon the guest to seek a return of the gift amount from the couple directly.
SmartHoneymoon.com provides this Terms of Use (“Agreement”) to you as a user of SmartHoneymoon.com. By using SmartHoneymoon.com, you are indicating your willingness to be bound by all of the terms of this Agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, please do not use SmartHoneymoon.com.
We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of this Agreement at any time and without prior notice to you, but such changes will be effective only when they are posted to this site. You agree to be bound by all of the terms of this and all future Agreements, as long as you use SmartHoneymoon.com.
By registering to become a member of SmartHoneymoon.com (“Member”), you attest that all information provided by you in the registration is true and accurate. To become a Member, you must provide some of the information requested in the registration form. Please read our Privacy Policy for specifics on how we will use each piece of information you give us.
Please note that SmartHoneymoon.com does not collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
SmartHoneymoon.com reserves the right to modify or discontinue SmartHoneymoon.com at any time without notice to you. Any such modifications or termination of service announcements will be posted to the web site. In the unlikely event that this should occur, all gifts received will be disbursed to the couple.

As a user, you are responsible for protecting your password. You agree that you will be responsible for any and all statements made while using this site, and acts or omissions that occur, through the use of your membership and password. If you have reason to believe or become aware of any loss, theft, or unauthorized use of your membership account or password, notify SmartHoneymoon.com immediately.
You understand that all information, text, messages, and any other material posted on SmartHoneymoon.com by Members (“Member Content”) is the sole responsibility of the person from which such Member Content originated. This means that the member, not SmartHoneymoon.com, is entirely responsible for the content that the member uploads, posts or otherwise transmits. SmartHoneymoon.com does not control the Member Content that is posted and therefore does not guarantee the accuracy or integrity of the Member Content. In addition, you acknowledge that you may be exposed to content that is offensive or objectionable to you.
SmartHoneymoon.com does not claim ownership of the Member Content you place on SmartHoneymoon.com. Except as limited and regulated by our Privacy Policy, by placing content on SmartHoneymoon.com you grant SmartHoneymoon.com an unlimited license to republish, reproduce, modify and adapt the Member Content for the purpose of administering and promoting SmartHoneymoon.com.
While SmartHoneymoon.com does not and cannot review all transmissions by Members, you acknowledge that SmartHoneymoon.com reserves the right to, and may from time to time, monitor any and all information transmitted or received through SmartHoneymoon.com. By accepting this Agreement, you agree that all SmartHoneymoon.com Content is the sole property of SmartHoneymoon.com and SmartHoneymoon.com and its licensors shall retain all right, title and interest in and to the Content, which may not be reproduced without prior written consent of SmartHoneymoon.com. You acknowledge that SmartHoneymoon.com is not responsible for the availability of, and does not endorse or assume responsibility for, any content, products, policies or other materials on such sites, nor does it assume any responsibility for your reliance on or use of content, products or other materials obtained from such sites.
You acknowledge that SmartHoneymoon.com has the right to advertise and post promotions on SmartHoneymoon.com. You acknowledge that site users may not advertise or post promotions on SmartHoneymoon.com without express permission from SmartHoneymoon.com.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SmartHoneymoon.com from and against any claim, liability, cost, damage or loss it may incur (including, without limitation, attorneys fees) as a result of (i) your use of Member Content or SmartHoneymoon.com Content; (ii) any content provided by you; (iii) any violation by you of your obligations under this Agreement; and (iv) any violation by you of the rights of others.
The trademarks, logos, and service marks (collectively the “Trademarks”) displayed on SmartHoneymoon.com are the registered and unregistered Trademarks of SmartHoneymoon.com and others. Except as provided in this Agreement or by written permission of SmartHoneymoon.com, your use, appropriation or misrepresentation of the Trademarks displayed on this site is strictly prohibited. SmartHoneymoon.com will aggressively enforce its intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes the service provided by the SmartHoneymoon.com web site or its use or access.
SmartHoneymoon.com may place limits on the use and storage of data on our site. For example, SmartHoneymoon.com may limit the length of time that Member Content can remain on the site, or set limits regarding maximum or minimum levels of activity. You agree that SmartHoneymoon.com will not be held liable to anyone for any loss or injury resulting from your direct or indirect use of SmartHoneymoon.com. Furthermore, you agree that SmartHoneymoon.com has no obligation to maintain records or provide you with documentation of your transactions with charitable/non-profit organizations for tax reporting purposes.
If any provision in this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, it will be enforced to the furthest extent possible and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. This Agreement, your rights and obligations, and all actions contemplated by this Agreement will be governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of New York (except with respect to choice of law), as if the Agreement were a contract wholly entered into and wholly performed in New York, New York. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement will be resolved exclusively in the federal or state courts located in New York, New York and you hereby consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
